Christmas dinner !...P.S. I so fat

Thanks so much Te-te and Marz! These two women single handedly made Christmas dinner, desserts and all. We love you guys and thanks so much for sacrificing your Christmas day for our tummies. We really respect and thank you for that! Moving on, I'm so full! I ate my heart out and so did every one else--there was sooooo mucho comida! Me and Ana are so dumb! About an hour before the big dinner, me and Ana go to the OXXO and buy quesadillas and eat five each! So we come home and stuff our faces with Christmas dinner and now I'm so full. Then I had to help out on dishes, and I felt so sick. Any ways...i just wanted to post some Pictures of our OXXO
dinner...Oh yes, and Merry christmas to you all!

etc...

Poetry...

Sorry guys, Ana is being annoying. She is reading poetry from the good thoughts to me and I'm trying to ignore her but she wont leave me alone unless I post some of it on my blog about..um..beauty. So, um, I'm sorry but I'm doing this for my own sake... Ahem, here goes...enjoy.

12. What is beauty?--Not the show Of shapely limbs & features.--No; These are but flowers That have their dated hours, To breathe their momentary sweets & go. 'Tis the stainless soul within That outshines the fairest skin.

16. How beautiful is the rain!
After the dust & heat, In the broad & fiery street, In the narrow lane; How beautiful is the rain! How it clatters along the roofs, Like the tramp of hoofs; How it gushes & struggles out From the throat of the overflowing spout. --Longfellow (note from me: she mainly likes this one because of the name)

24. If you want a golden rule that will fit everybody, this is it: Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.

My Deborah's Happy Day.

Aww Debbie, you so old now:P. 21 Oh my. Haha. I did remember, just didn't get around to it believe me... I love you my debs, and hope that you have the best year ever even though I know you wont cuz I'm not there. He he. Debbie, you're the bestest ever. I miss you, I miss when we'd talk until 2 in the morning, I miss how you were always so happy and cuddly. I wish that I had taken more advantage of the times we were together. I guess I never realized that one day I'd be with out my Boris. Perhaps some of the funnest times of my life were with you-you made every moment special. I love you Debbie, hope you have a bestest year ever and that many of your dreams and wishes come true, besides the one of me joining you in Romania:P. Wuv ya.

Birfdays!

Today is my mothers birfday. I love you mom. I wish every one had a mom like you. You've always been there when I was going through a battle or some thing of the sort and tell me that every thing was gonna be okay. I really admire how you have served the Lord all these years and are so dedicated to Him and the Family. You're so cool and young in spirit, such a new bottle. Thanks for how youve raised us up, and for the love, discipline, patience. You're the bestest mommy in the world! Love you.

Here are some poems I found about mothers:

Mom's smiles can brighten any moment,
Mom's hugs put joy in all our days,
Mom's love will stay with us forever
and touch our lives in precious ways...

The values you've taught,
the care you've given,
and the wonderful love you've shown,
have enriched my life
in more ways than I can count.

I Love you Mom!

- Author Unknown

To my mother

For all the times you gently picked me up,
When I fell down,
For all the times you tied my shoes
And tucked me into bed,
Or needed something
But put me first instead.
For everything we shared,
The dreams, the laughter,
And the tears,
I love you with a "Special Love"
That deepens every year..

Mother

I think God took the fragrance
of a flower,
A pure white flower, which blooms
not for world praise
But which makes sweet and beautiful
some bower;
The compassion of the dew,
which gently lays
Reviving freshness on
the fainting earth,
And gives to all the tired things
new birth;
The steadfastness and radiance
of stars
Which lift the soul above
confining bars;
The gladness of fair dawns;
the sunset's peace;
Contentment which from trivial rounds
asks no release;
The life which finds its greatest joy
in deeds of love for others...
I think God took these precious things
and made of them...mothers.

Back Together Again.

Welcome back Ana and Mary Rose. These two people had been gone for about a month almost. They were fund raising for a new 5 yr old van. Quite an improvement from our other ones who were 1996, 1995 and 1990! Haha. So its nice to have a newer vehicle. Also big hug and cheers for Aaron and Dom who also went to the border last week to fund raise for the rest. They worked so hard GBT! One day they were out for like 12 hours so 3 cheers for them! It feels so weird to all be back together again, and like we have to get to know them again. Haha. We love you guys, so good to have you back! It really wasn't the same with out you. Especially you Ana, you know how i meant that! As in quiet!

Happy Birthday Micah....yesterday....

Hey Micah, I didn't forget! I actually remembered at 11:something last night. He he. We've known Micah for a long time...well, like 3 years or so, no? I remember the morning you arrived! ha ha that was funny. I feel like it's been forever ago though. Micah has always been like an older brother to me and all the rest of us kiddos. We've gone through so much when living with him and he's helped us through it all. When I'd be depressed, he'd dance for me and feed me chips so that I'd talk. Actually, I rather liked that method...hmmm...the chips that is... minus the dance:P. God bless you Micah, praying for you. Have a great year and thanks for that you've done for us and our family and the work here in Tampico. Love you. Happy... WOAH...24th! Lol. Sorry I didn't have any pics of him so I stole them all from the XD core pics.

Ok you look really funny in this pic... but then again, dont you always? hahaha jk

Foolishness in the Classroom with Auntie Stephanie...

Pics of foolishness

So in history we had been studying about England, Robin hood era.. Auntie Stephannie said that if we made a rap song about Prince John and England, then we will pass the test...so here we go! Haha. If you look past all the cornyness then you might understand the words and get yourself an education.

Silly me...hey, it was my first try ever. Don't judge me to harshly. Lol

Ok, so this is Aaron's. I helped him so that it'd be half decent. Its not, I know, but imagine if it was just him....hmm...we had to redo it a couple of times cuz he kept on messing up. Haha...

Kaylee Ann Halifax.

Kaylee is getting so big and fat and smart! I wuv her to pieces. She can point out colors and understands Spanish. She is talking alot, or at least trying to although most of what she says is: "no."...It tends to get annoying:P. But she is so cute and sweet...ahem... and such a little priss. I'll post some pics of her...for you all to enjoy.

She loves sticking out her tongue or touching her belly-button.

Fun in the towers
Cool Kay.
Modeling already...

My silly goose

Happy Belated Birthday Sandra .

Well, the other day we held a surprise birthday party for one of our friends daughter(well, she is our friend too..). We played some games, ate some spaghetti, sang "las manañitas", played some more games, and ate some cake. Exciting stuff huh? Robin and Nikki made her this super cool card with a picture of Sandra(birthday girl) as the cover. It was really cute to see her reaction, and Nikki, it turned out REALLLLLY nice! Congratulations. Actually Nikki is really good in photoshop....any ways. She was turning 13 and we gave her Sammy with a bow on his head for a birthday gift.
Here go some pics.

Happy Birthday Melanie.

Awww Mel..you're already sixteen. Melanie is one of my very bestest friends and have always been since i was about....7 or 8...wow. You've grown up and matured so much, you're hardly even the same little girl who would always just argue with Tasha for fun. You're such a fun person and always cheerful and willing to do whatever needs to be done. You're so on fire and that's one of the things I admire most about you. Keep on keeping on and being that funny lil' girl that you are, and may you make many babies. Love you and miss you Mel. Be good. Don't get into any mischief without me ;).

Three cheers for me.

brother and sister...awww..

Peace in the midst of a storm...lol

Speeches!

All of us graduates.

Us, looking very intelligent...ahem...with mommy and daddy.

Us all that graduated from our home. Ana(left) Aaron(middle) and ME (right)

The other day we went to Mexico city for a fellowship/graduation. It was so cool and we got to see old friends that we hadn't seen in a while. The team of seven- My parents, Te-te, Ana, her sister Elizabeth, Aaron, and I-set out for a long ten hour drive, leaving at 10:00 sunday morning (I'll leave you with the math) . Hours later, we arrived at the CTC very tired and with aching bums. It was soooooo cold! After a good nights sleep with me all cuddled up to my mommy, we got up, ate and had devotions. A lot happened in this breakfast-devotions slot, but that must remain under the table. My mom gave my dad a hair cut (which i had to ruin- i forced my mom to give me a sec with the scissors and i messed it up, TG she fixed it:D). Volley ball and fellowship were next on the menu, at it was very exciting. At 1:00, all the graduates (there were 28 of us) Piled into the dining room for a talk and *ahem* practice. We all had to give a little speachy-poo and I had NO idea of what to say. At the last moment(while on stage) I pieced together this really corny-sounding copy of what every one else before me had said. Enough of my blabbering, here are some pics of us in our super-duper graduation ....clothes?... and fancy-dancy hats! there was only 1 photographer who wasn't an expert so this is all we got...the profeesional ones will come out laterz. maybe I'll post some of those...

Happy Birthday Laura.

Today is Laura's birthday! YAY! I reached 15 'bout a month ago. It has been the best year so far:P. I hope that you had a super day and have a super special year. Maybe when I go to the graduation, we can celebrate our Cincenera together! So good with kids (at least what I've seen from your blog:P) and full of fun Inspiring ideas...very artistic at times.. any ways, you've been so nice and friendly to me, and even when there is no one else on line, you're always there. There' s never a dull moment in your company, and you're always so...umm...full of surprises! Have a great time and may you have much happiness, fulfillment and children! I love you!

Trying to hear her mom telling her to clean her room!

Thinkin' about me...

So foolish child..

6 years in Tampico.

Today is a very special day. We have been in Tampico 6 years now! Its so cool to see all that the Lord has done here in Tampico and how much we have grown since moving here. When you actually think about it, its quite a while. In fact, its the longest Ive ever been anywhere. Ummm, I don't really know what to say about the city that I've come to call home for these past 6 years, but I think I'll end this short post with an "I love you Tampico..." I'll post some pics of we've done here in Tampico. They're not really of the work, but its fun to see some activities and stuff. Not really much, but you guys are busy people so I only put a few.

Have..um...shopping cart races...*btw I won:D*

100 Times More...

I had this old camara that a friend gave me on New Years. It was super old and quite...er...junky..and Nikki wasall enfatuated with it so when I got a bit of pocket change(hehehe) I decided to get a new camara. Nikki´s birthday was coming up so I decided to give it to her for her birthday. (I know, I´m so generous) So the day same and I gaveit to her and she was so happy and dancing around for the rest of the day. Well, My birthday came along about two weeks after and we have these super good friends and supporters who for Nikki´s brithday they gave her a giant cuddly (who she is forced to name sparrow or Rajiv. I admit I was a bit jealous of her and her bear and the love they had for...err..eachother.) I was out witnessing when they arrived buti knew that they had brought me something cuz she (Norma) told be they would. When I got home there was this HUGE gift bag on the floor about the same size that nikki´s teddy bear came in so I thought they had brought me one. I went to go and say hi, kinda ignoring the lovely package on the floor. Norma told me to open it and there was a Toshiba box in the bag. Dom kinda jokingly said ¨Oh look Flo, they got you a laptop!¨ To which they replied ¨SHUSHdon´t tell her!¨ Of course I didn´t believe him, even though the Toshiba box was right under my nose, I would have never dreamed! So I continued opening it and Alejandro (the ummm...man?) said ¨Every teen needs something personaland we thought that a laptop would be some thing personal.¨ I sat there awe struck. ¨You mean its ACTUALLY A LAPTOP?¨ Oh yes it was! I still don´t know how to react! I never would have dared to dream it possible.
Also, going back to the camara I gave Nikki, I was wondering whether to give her the rechargable batteries I hadbeen using with it too, but if i gave them to her, I wouldn´t have any. So I breifly asked the Lord and he said ¨Freely ye hath received, freely give (someone gave them to me).¨ So I did it -I gave them to her. How did the Lord pay me back? Well,I would follow-up alot on this one contact that has been a friend for a long time. When it was nikki´s birthday he gave us 500 pesos so we could go out. He called me for my birthday and after talking for a bit, he asked me to pass him to my mom. She later told me that he said that he wanted to give me some money for mybirthday, and that he would come to drop it off the next day. Little did we expect that he was going to give 1000 PESOS! That´s like 100 dollars! The Lord never asks you to give anything away with out giving you something much better in return! I´ll post pics of my computer laterz.

Happy Belated Birthday Me..

Okay so the other day was my birthday. I didn´t have time to get on to post about that wonderful day 15 years ago, thatthe Lord gave the world the most special gift...ME! Anyways, I went out with my mom and Te-te and we had a great time. We watched ¨Rush Hour 3¨ and ate out at subway. We didn´t take any pics, sorry people, but it was great... big thanks to every one who made it so special. It was my bestest birthday ever ever ever.

Domi is my biggest baddest fattest brother. A fine fellow virgo I must say and a fun guy to hang out with. He's super good at out reach and really on the ball, getting every one out of the house on time etc. He's such a good daddy to little kaylee and she loves him tons, just like every one else! I love you Dom, have a really good day and may you get many good presents:D.

Our Independence Day party.

Ok, so my beautifully lovely sister Te-te made some super nice enchiladas, pico de gallo, and the adults had margaritas! And us, the little children..., had water! God bless Te-te cuz she must have made over 100 enchiladas and was in the kitchen for quite a while. We invited some friends over for dinner and some of us dressed up. One of the people that came was singing a bunch of traditional Mexican songs, Mariachi style, so yes, that was interesting... It was fun. I don't have any pics yet, but, I'll post some soon. Promise :D.

VIVA MEXICO!..... AND BAKING.....!?!?!

The fruit of our labours!

Sammy's art..It's supposed to be a guys head.

The cookies...chocolate chip!

Me and my pie! Such love!

The funnest part, putting the..er..criss-crosses...? (perfect huh? That was MY pie;)
Filling up the crusts.

Making the crust. Notice our super fancy, state-of-the-art rolling pins.

Aaron mixing the apples for the filling...

Tired but happy!

Enjoying the results!(and being very foolish about it!)

I know. Yesterday was Independence Day but I didn't have time to get on. We also had a baking class with Auntie Te-te:P. Hahaha, don't kill me Te-te. Te-te is such a good cook/baker and such a patient teacher. I'll post some pics of all the fun we had and our good food we made. I just had the apple pie for snack today and it has never tasted sweeter. Sorry the flash is kinda wacky.
