Me.

Here's some stuff I found on virgos. I'll throw in my 2 cents every once in a while. My writings will be in bold:D.

Virgo is the sixth astrological sign in the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Virgo. In Western astrology, the sign is no longer aligned with the constellation as a result of the precession of the equinoxes. In astrology, Virgo is considered a "feminine", negative (introvert) sign. It is also considered an earth sign and is one of four mutable signs. Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury.

Individuals born when the Sun was in this sign are considered Virgo individuals. Under the tropical Zodiac, the Sun is in Virgo roughly from August 23 to September 22. Under the sidereal zodiac, it is currently there roughly from September17 to October 17.

Virgo is the only zodiac sign represented by a female.

Astrologers broadly agree that the following are the characteristics of Virgo:

  • Analytical / critical
  • Precise / meticulous
  • Orderly / methodical
  • Practical
  • Mental / intelligent / inquiring
  • Responsible / reliable
  • Perfectionistic
  • Shrewd / witty
  • Conservative / conventional
  • Refined / polite
  • Hygienic
  • Reserved / cool / undemonstrative

Suitable occupations are those in which analytical and practical, methodical qualities are needed, such as doctor, teacher, psychologist, technician, nurse, hygienist, scientist, accountant, secretary, (missionary:D)and inspector. In medical astrology, Virgo governs the intestines and digestion, also spleen and nervous system.

  • Likes- Health foods(pshhh), lists, hygiene, order( not true, you should see my closet), wholesomeness, cleanliness(lol), penny-pinching(true), details, peace(
  • Dislikes- Hazards to health, sloppiness(hey, I'm sloppy), and narrow-minded people, squalor, being uncertain, uncleanliness, confusion

Physical traits

Many astrologers believe that each of the twelve signs have identifiable physical traits. Some think that physically, individuals born under the sign of Virgo tend to have a graceful(:D) figure, a roundish head, delicately-shaped lips, large and clear eyes, small, symmetrical , and refined features, a high forehead, long arms and thin eyebrows. They are thought to usually be of slightly above average height.

Compatibilities

Virgo is widely thought to be compatible with the same element signs, Taurus and Capricorn(whatever)

There are many variables that determine compatibility in astrology, such as birth dates, birth months, birth years, position of a sign within the Sun, the Moon, Stars, etc. The signs listed as compatible with Virgo do not reflect an individual profile or individual reading as interpreted within astrology, but rather reflect a general guideline and reference to compatibility as dictated by variables such as Qualities and Elements within the Zodiac.

The baby.

Jordan is the baby of our family. Well, this baby has gotten quite big in the past couple years and has turned 8 today! YEY! I love you so much, Midget. I've been Jordan's teacher and have been through just about the worst with him; we pray he'll do better this year. Keep growing up Jordy. One day you'll be big like me;). We went to Subway and Burger King(for icecream) for his birthday and had a really nice time. I'll post some pics when I get to them. Oh wait, I got them! No, I didn't. Oh well. Till then I guess!

Me and Robin
Ahem so one night we were bored, and had nothing better to do with our time but take billions of pictures. Here are a few. I realized I have like zero pictures of myself one me blog, so I decided to post a few of me and my sisters.
P.S. Leave me alone. I know my little sisters are prettier than me, I'm trying to live with the fact. You're not helping anything.

I see a bright light...!

The day of all the mommies..

Here in Mexico it's mother's day. Call us weird if you like, but it's true. Te amo, mommy. You're really greatly cool. I love you so much and I can't imagine a better mom for me. You're just what I need, some one firm, who doesn't let me get away with all the bad stuff I wanna do. Thanks for being all that you've been for me all these years: a friend, a shepherd, a task master(snicker), a washer woman(louder snicker), and every thing else. You're the best, mom. Love you tons and always will!

Something I was reading for Quiet time...

So I was reading this XN(108) and got to this. It really spoke to me and i just love it. It's so true.
(Dad:) It's the life of faith that helps us to reach that place where Jesus is enough.
It's the trials and battles; the things we lose and sacrifice; the things we forsake—and learn that we don't need; the times when we see Him supply for us, satisfy us, and make us happy despite our not having the things we may think we need. It's the forsakings, the hardships, the fulfillment, the abounding and abasing, all our experiences lumped together that take us step by step—and in reality almost forces us—to the place where we truly feel and know that Jesus is enough; He's everything to us, and compared to Him, nothing else matters.

38. The way it works is that‚ on the one hand, breakings, battles and forsakings drive us to Him in desperation and in need. On the other hand, they remove the props and the crutches that keep us from being more spiritual and leaning more on Him‚ from really discovering that He can be the beginning and the end of our satisfaction.

Guess where it's from. ;) and to the one who gets it right, they're rewarded a cyber raisin cookie (whole wheat of course) yey!

tu tu tu rut too tUUU!

Yey. Aaron is 17. I don't have much else to say, so I won't say much else. Aaron is the one thats closest to my age in our family, so I guess we've always been pretty close, though we've had our times... yes...ahem anyhoooo. Aaron, you're great. You deserve the best this year. Hope you have a good one, meany.

Update on May 2nd: And on a lighter subject, me and the 17 yr old(hehe) finished our science today YEY! And we (both) got 90%. Ha we're so cool. But it wasn't just any old science test. It was yucky stuff like about electricity and computers etc. Thanks Aaron, couldn't have finished it without you! I lack the inspiration. Half the time I wasn't even paying attention, but Aaron would test me and make me feel guilty so I'd have to pay attention. All my good and bad scores in school are your fault Aaron(that's actually not true...)

P.S. The weirdo title is actually the sound of a trumpet announcing my presence. haha yes, I love you too.
